BOO to YOU!

My sister requested a few Halloween cards.  The first one was pretty simple. Blocks cut from various patterned paper, a stamped spider and a haunted castle cut from flocked paper.  I punched the moon from flocked paper as well.  The teeny tiny bats were cut with my cricut on flocked paper they are about an inch long and DID NOT RIP!  I love that paper!!
All cut elements are on flocked paper. A sand colored background lightly embossed.  All pieces cut with my cricut.
Embossed with a polka dot folder on Pumpkin Pie card stock. All pumpkins cut with cricut from various patterned paper. Matted on black cardstock
Patterned paper rectangles matted on black. The spider web was embossed on white and then sponged with black and finished with its occupant, a flocked black spider with googly eyes.
These two pictures of a double side step card.  The bats, cat and spider are flocked black paper and the rest is cardstock.
This is today's creation.  A Cascading Card.  Not as difficult to make the base as it seems but the decorating can get tricky. This one has a purple base and a variety of patterned papers to cover the spaces. All the ghouls and ghosts were cut with my cricut mostly from Paper Dolls dress up cartridge on flocked paper.  The card base itself is 4 by 5.5 but all the elements sticky up and out are going to require a larger envelope.  And my OCD crazy person problem is that you can see the unfinished backs of their heads.  I may change it...or leave it and go more insane knowing it is "naked"

Box of Cards with a View

This is a set of 10 cards with a coordinating box I made from a Simply Scrappin Kit.  I used the top note die to cut the window of the box and then used the cut out piece to make the first card.

The simply scrappin kit had just about all I needed.  I covered the window with a piece of clear acetate. Embellishments of ribbon, flowers and a Hello greeting finish it off!
The colors in this pack are Pool Party, Gray, Primrose Petals and Mustard.
Sunburst technique was fun and not nearly as hard as I thought it would be! I alternated designer series paper with embossed cardstock.

Oh More Mustard how I will miss thee....

Giddy up! Trifold Shutter Card- Cowboy Theme

New card for sale on my etsy site!  Cowboy theme any occasion card.  These cards have some weight to them so when you mail them it may take two stamps.  This was actually fun to make.  I think I have one more in me and then I will give the design a rest except for custom requests!

Trifold Shutter Card

Shutter Card Fully Open
Shutter Card Front Closed
This is the my first attempt at a Trifold Shutter Card. It was actually pretty simple...not taking in account my crazed paper selection process!  I can see a few of these showing up in my etsy store next week. www.madebymarmee.etsy.com  I have a masculine paper that I have been itching to use and this style is perfect.
This particular card is for my oldest daughter's 25th birthday! A day late and 4 days late before she holds in her hands but at least she gets to see it.
The card base is in the color from her wedding, Wild Wasabi. All the DSP (designer series paper) is Stampin Up and is mounted on Chocolate Chip. I used several punches (two-step bird, owl, and new artisan label) and a framelit for the front to showcase the owl (also something she likes). I finished it off with some retired Wasabi stitched ribbon also leftover from her wedding. It would be so easy for the purchase to further customize the empty spaces with small photos!
